Ready to come home!

Sorry, It has been a while since i have updated the blog! They were supposed to fly out of Haiti last night but ended up not being able to so they are going to try to leave again tonight. They have been gone a little over two weeks... and are ready for a good meal and air conditioning! My dad has spent most of his time with doctors translating and helping with small operations. He says that the days fly by but the nights are long and hot! They will most likely be home sometime this weekend. :)

Days 4-5

Sorry i didnt update the blog yesterday! But my dad says he had a lot of fun yesterday, they got to go to a local ward and visit for a minute. Then they find out that the primary teacher had not come so all of the children were in sunday school with their parents. So my dad offered to teach all of the kids!!! He was there ALL day and loved it. And then today he went around with a doctor to different clinics and things and also helped with a small surgery! And then the doctor asked him to remove the catheter of another patient... he told him he didnt know how, so the doctor could show him on this patient and then he would do it next time... luckily for him their was no next time!!! :) Tomorrow they are all waking up at 2:30 am to go and deliver rice til 7:30 am with the US army. I will let you know how that goes tomorrow!

My dads info from Haiti

My dad says he is having a lot of fun! He has been assigned to be the quartermaster, he checks tools and medical supplies in and out. He also has to keep track of where people go and are at all times. He has a lot of work keeping track of whats getting done, but likes the responsability.
