Finally able to leave...

They had planned on leaving on Wednesday, but they got delayed until Thursday. They had a meeting Wednesday night after finding out that they had to much weight to go on the plane. They asked for volunteers to stay back. Nobody stepped up to stay back, so they separated into groups, the construction workers, the doctors, and the French Creole speakers. They talked and tried to figure out who was needed most. they cut about 20 people last night and then cut different tools down as well. Then they find out they can not stay in the secured camp they planned on. They found another camp, that had no fresh water or security, that they decided to stay at. IN doing this they would have to take all of their own water. This cut down the amount of people that could go also. Plus this new camp that they are staying at is right by the airport, which is 6 miles from the hospital they are working on... they are going to get quite a bit of exercise! They finally flew out at 1:30pm this afternoon and plan to arrive in florida at 5:30. WE will be waiting for a call and will post more later.
